Nancy Chillag

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Nancy started her investment career at the age of 26 purchasing a 5-unit Victorian in San Francisco. She fell in love with real estate and continued to expand her investments.
 
She has invested in real estate for over 30 years. She owned an office building, warehouse, single family homes and small multifamily units. Since 2013 she has obtained an interest in over 5000 multifamily units, both actively and passively.
 
Nancy is also an attorney. She owned and operated Chillag & Associates, a law firm in Menlo Park, California, for over 25 years before retiring in 2013. Her firm provided legal advice to clients in the areas of real estate, construction, business and estate planning. Nancy represented the interests of real estate investors and developers, helping them navigate through investment analysis, construction, property management and landlord-tenant issues. In addition to being an attorney, Nancy is also a Certified Public Accountant and real estate broker. Since retiring from the practice of law, in addition to being a founder of 23rd Street Investors, Nancy formed Primary Home Solutions through which she purchases and renovates single family homes.
 
As an attorney, Nancy published 3 books – “Building by the Book: Legal Advice for Contractors,” “How to Survive a Remodel,” and “Your Kids are Counting on You: An Estate Planning Guide for Parents.” She was also the Legal Columnist for Qualified Remodeler Magazine, a national trade publication, and has appeared on local talk shows and at construction and real estate trade conventions to discuss issues involving real estate.
 
As a real estate investor, Nancy has published 3 e-books – “Why Real Estate Investing is Right for You,” “No Money? No Time? No Problem! – How to Invest in Real Estate Even if You Think You Can’t”, and “The Attorney’s Passive Income Guide”.
 
 

Tony Siacotos

Founder and Chief Operations Officer

Tony was born and raised in California and graduated with a Business Management degree from the California State University at Chico. He left California and ended up in New York, where he spent ten years in both procurement and technical sales for the Regional Bell Operating Companies as the telephone business deregulated in the 80’s and 90’s.

Leaving the telephony industry, he ran a small health care business in New York for over 20 years before returning to California to be closer to family. Since his return to California, Tony has been Lead and Acquisition Manager for Primary Home Solutions, a business focused on purchasing and renovating single family homes, where he developed his knowledge of real estate and his passion for helping distressed property owners find easy and effective solutions to their problems. He is also a licensed real estate agent.

Expanding on that knowledge and passion, Tony is focused on helping people find a solution to retirement and legacy wealth without relying on the stock market or social security, but rather through investment in multifamily real estate. He has developed a talent for market research and investment analysis to insure stable, conservative, cash flowing acquisitions with appreciation potential.

Dugan is the co-founder of Kelley Clarke, PLLC, a law firm with offices in Texas and California. He has practiced law for over 20 years and is a best-selling author. He chairs the firm’s securities and real estate practice group, assisting clients in all phases of real estate, including syndication, contracts and litigation, and has structured real estate transactions in excess of $2 Billion.

Brandi Shotwell

Principal, Reno Capital Management

Brandi Shotwell is a Principal at Reno Capital Management concentrating on debt and equity. With over 20 years’ experience in finance and real estate, Brandi has had leadership involvement in over $1 billion in real estate projects ranging from commercial acquisitions to commercial development.  She has organized funding acquisitions and development opportunities for multifamily investors, high net worth individuals, municipal growth areas, and manufacturing clients. Prior to joining RCM, Brandi was Vice President at Edge Capital Markets and Coronado Bay Capital where she was a top producing loan originator.  Brandi attended Purdue University Northwest where she studied business and marketing.

Conservative Underwriting

When we underwrite properties, we are ultra-conservative. We negotiate the best possible loan terms for all our projects. We look for value-add deals with strong cash flow and expect our properties to stabilize in 18 to 24 months. We make sure we have extra funds available after closing and we add to our reserves on an annual basis.

Excellent Communication

We communicate with our investors on a regular basis. Once we close we provide regular reports so that you know how the project is going. We are also very responsive to any questions you might have along the way.
